World War 3 Watch: United Kingdom + Japan
I would argue that World War II - and perhaps by extension World War I even - never actually ended. These conflicts may have concluded officially, on paper, with peace treaties, surrenders or what have you being signed. But in the aftermath of WWII, there have been a number of resulting conflicts, most notably in Asia, which resulted in mass casualties. Wars may end on paper, but grudges, political beefs and lust for domination can persist for generations afterwards. I'm not one of those scholars who believe that a full-scale World War III will inevitably happen, and of course, I hope and pray that it doesn't. As for the War of Armageddon, i.e. the nations of the world teaming up to (physically) fight the Most High God, that's prophecy. But when it comes to the prospect of World War III, none of us can see the future. That being said, many of the powerful nations of the world, being who are they, are very much preparing for the possibility nonetheless...
